Hello! I am so glad you are looking for a counselor!  I work with all sorts of individuals (ages 14 and older) and specialize in working with adolescents and trauma. I work from a relationship based therapeutic approach which means I strive to create an environment that feels safe, comfortable and supportive to you.  I am trained in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) which is a treatment that helps people to process past trauma and change negative beliefs they have about themselves. I truly believe that everyone deserves to be happy and live their best life and I understand how it is often overwhelming and confusing to think about making changes in order to live the life you deserve.  In our work together we will identify specific areas in your life you would like to explore and understand, and then create a plan to work towards positive, lasting change.
